South Africa is a wonderful country with a vast array of attractions, from beaches and game parks to bustling cities and spectacular natural features - there is something in South Africa to suit all ages and pockets!!

The Kruger National Park covers an area of almost 20 000 km² and is approximately 200 km in length and roughly 65 km wide. It lies in the east of South Africa in the east side of the Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces and was originally established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African.
The Kruger National Park safaris offer a range of standard and luxury safaris as well as game lodges and which offer the ultimate game sightseeing and safari experience. In and around the area are the Kruger National Park lodges and the Kruger National Park camps. These camps can be accessed through eight main gates. Each gate has a significant name, Paul Kruger (after whom the National Park is named), Numbi, Malelane, Crocodile Bridge, Punda Maria, Orpen, Phabeni, Phalaborwa and Pafuri.
This Kruger National Park has more species of mammals than any other African Game Reserve and boasts of 147 species. The famous ‘Big Five' are five of Africa's greatest wild animals, namely, the lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. There are webcams set up to observe the wild life, and many tourists regard a visit to South Africa as incomplete without having spotted and photographed the Big Five.
There are 517 species of birds found at the Krueger National Park, 117 are non-breeding migrants, 253 are residents, and 147 nomads.
Accommodation Kruger National Park is available in a variety of units. There are 12 main rest camps with accommodation ranging from huts and safari tents to 2/3 bed bungalows, family cottages and luxury guest houses, there are also smaller bush lodges.
There are numerous public amenities such as licensed restaurants, laundromats, an information centre, grocery and curio shops and swimming pools for the residents. Petrol and diesel are also available as well as public telephones.
The Kruger National Park really offers the ultimate rest experience away from the hustle and bustle of city life, so radios and televisions are not provided in the park, and those who bring their own must ensure they do not disturb the other visitors.
